Taipei WTA Ladies Open

The Taipei WTA Ladies Open (currently sponsored by OEC) is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on indoor carpet courts, held annually in Taipei, Taiwan.
Classified as a WTA 125K series tournament, it was first held in 2012.
In the past, a WTA Tour affiliated tennis tournament named Taiwan Open was played here from 1986 to 1989 and from 1992 to 1994. It was played on indoor carpet courts from 1986 to 1988 and on outdoor hard courts in 1989 and 1992–1994.
Anne Minter and Wang Shi-ting were the most successful players at the tournament, each winning the singles competition twice.
